Survey Asks If Sex Ever Used as Bargaining Tool?

Adam & Eve's latest “Great American Sex Survey" has asked adults if they ever use sex as a bargaining tool.

More than 1,000 American adults were polled in the survey with 25 percent of women and 15 percent of men admitting that they have participated in sexual bargaining.

The respondents said they’ve used lines like “I’ll agree to have sex if you mow the lawn/take me on vacation/etc.,” to get what they want.

“I would speculate that more women then men engage in this behavior simply because it often takes women longer to ‘warm up’ for sex,” Dr. Kat Van Kirk, resident sexpert for AdamAndEve.com said. “The idea that they can get their partners to gladly take out the trash or walk the dog is appealing.”

“If the bargaining is done in a playful way, it can be a fun part of a healthy sexual relationship,” continued Dr. Kat. “It’s when it becomes a means to an end that partners feel taken advantage of.”

The web-based survey was conducted by an independent third party survey to study sexual preferences and practices.

“Adam & Eve encourages adults to explore all the aspects of positive sexuality within their own comfort zones,” director of Marketing Chad Davis said. “We believe sexual education leads to a happier, more fulfilling sex life.”

A significant number (61 percent) of American adults say they have never cheated on their partner, and 11 percent either refused to answer or said they were not in a relationship. When these same respondents were asked if they had ever been cheated on, 28 percent admitted they had, 60 percent said they had not, and 12 percent either refused to answer or were not in a relationship.

Adam & Eve's resident sex expert, Dr. Kat Van Kirk, finds the figures encouraging. The web-based poll was conducted by an independent third party survey company.

"Many similar surveys in years' past show the numbers much higher," Van Kirk said. "Incidentally, statistics show that infidelity often increases when economic stress increases. I find it optimistic that couples are staying faithful even during these trying times."

Chad Davis, director of marketing for Adam & Eve adds that the company has seen record sales over the past few years.

"Perhaps more couples have opted to bring Adam & Eve's more risque items into their relationship rather than risk their relationship through cheating," Davis said.

This Ain't Jaws XXX” Trailer is Released by Hustler

Hustler and Adam & Eve have announced the upcoming release of “This Ain't Jaws XXX” on Jan. 31.

A parody of the original film “Jaws,” the spoof features Alexis Ford as well as Jayden Cole, Phoenix Marie and Lily LaBeau. Their male co-stars include Dale DaBone and Evan Stone. The film was shot entirely in 3D by director Stuart Canterbury.

“Adam & Eve and Hustler have a long history of working together,” said Drew Rosenfeld, creative director of Hustler Video.

“They have wanted to enter into 3D production, and we have a lot experience when it comes to 3D filmmaking. We have leveraged our synergy and come up with an exciting and entertaining new 3D parody.”

The “This Ain't Jaws XXX” parody is available with a two-disc DVD set and a two-disc Blu-ray set.

‘Beverly Hillbillies XXX’ New Classic TV Parody is Available Today

Old school is back with the double-disc DVD release of Beverly Hillbillies a XXX Parody from X-Play and Adam & Eve Pictures. The fast-paced laugh-out-loud porno is as close to classic television as you can get. The collectors DVD set is in stores today.

'Not the Beverly Hillbillies' Trailer Debuts

Granny, Ellie Mae, Jed Clampett, Jethro, Miss Jane and Mr. Drysdale are all back but this time they ain’t wearin’ no pants as director Will Ryder has crafted porn parody of the classic TV show.

"Beverly Hillbillies: A XXX Parody" is set for a late September release from Adam & Eve Pictures and X-Play.

In Ryder's sendup, Ellie Mae (Kagney Linn Karter) and Jethro (Otto Bauer) start a Hollywood talent casting agency right in their magnificent Beverly Hills mansion. But since they really don’t know nothin’ about the movie business, they quickly find themselves way over their heads.

Co-producers Adam & Eve Pictures and X-Play said they spared no expense for the project, even purchasing a 1926 Ford Model T Roadster to take to the streets of Beverly Hills.

“I’ll put this movie up against anything we’ve ever done in terms of quality and entertainment value,” Ryder said.

“It’s a really excellent movie and fun to watch,” added co-producer Scott David. “I think this is even funnier than 'Not Married with Children XXX.'”

That title was also the parody debut of Karter, 2010's XBIZ New Starlet of the Year.

“It was great to get back on set with these guys,” Karter said. “We had so much fun making this movie.”

"Beverly Hillbillies: A XXX Parody" is the second movie under a new co-production and distribution agreement between Adam & Eve Pictures and X-Play. The first movie coming is the adult movie adaptation of the classic Sylvester Stallone movie "Rocky" as "Rocky XXX" hits stores soon.

Hustler, Adam & Eve Join Forces for 'Jaws' Parody

Hustler Video and Adam & Eve have announced plans to co-produce “This Ain’t Jaws XXX 3D,” marking what will be the first-ever movie collaboration for the adult entertainment heavyweights.

Stuart Canterbury will direct the parody of the original film, “Jaws," beginning later this month. Canterbury's recent parodies include “This Ain’t Fox News XXX” and “This Ain’t Conan The Barbarian XXX 3D."

"Jaws" will star Adam & Eve exclusive performer Alexis Ford.

“Adam & Eve and Hustler already work closely together, as they are one of our biggest customers," said Drew Rosenfeld, creative director of Hustler Video. "They’ve admired our slick 3D productions and wanted to enter into that market. We are nothing short of excited to apply our existing synergy throughout the production and come up with an exciting and entertaining new 3D parody."

Bob Christian, Adam & Eve VP, said, "Adam & Eve Pictures is thrilled to be collaborating with Hustler Video on this project and what a great movie to kick off our relationship — a parody of 'Jaws' in 3D."

The “This Ain’t Jaws XXX 3D” parody is expected to be released in late January.
