Kanye Debuts Beautiful Erotic Short Film

Grammy-winning artist Kanye West and renowned photographer Barnaby Roper have produced an erotically charged video short to promote and capture the seductive allure of Polish supermodel Anja Rubik's newly launched fashion magazine "25."

Rubik, 29, befriended West after meeting the hip-hop fashionista at numerous runway shows. "He’s like a machine, not only with music but also with fashion and videos," she toldNYMag.com. ""It’s funny. We talked about porn looks these days, and he agreed with me that there's no porn out there that is beautiful aesthetically and integrates fashion to make a beautiful image."

For the premiere issue of "25," Rubik decided to look at erotica from a woman's perspective, drawing inspiration from adult publishing icon Bob Guccione's '70s periodical "Viva: The International Magazine for Women."

"I thought it was so beautiful and innocent, and very sensual and erotic, but all in very good taste," she said. "What happened to all of that? Nowadays, sex and nudity is either so vulgar or so prude. So I wanted to create something inspiring, and beautiful, and sensual, to get people to think in a different way."

Enter West, who Rubik described as being "on the same page." The video, which features snapshots of sex, bondage and blood, is a journey into the rapper's head. "It's not pornographic, but it's very sensual," Rubik said.

Over the Counter HIV Test Approved

OraQuick, the first over-the-counter HIV test, has been approved by the Food and Drug Administration. Manufactured by Orasure, the test can detect the HIV virus from saliva collected with a mouth swab in 20-to-40 minutes.

FDA officials said that the test will help slow the spread of the HIV virus by providing Americans who would normally not get tested with a private and easy alternative.

"The availability of a home-use HIV test kit provides another option for individuals to get tested so that they can seek medical care, if appropriate," Dr. Karen Midthun, director of the FDA's Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research, told the Associated Press.

An Orasure conducted trial showed the home test to be 92% accurate in detecting HIV carriers and 99% in identifying non-carriers. The OraQuick kit, however, has proved to be 99% accurate in recognizing both carriers and non-carriers when administered by health care professionals (Orasure has been providing a version of OraQuick to medical practitioners since 2002).

Orasure will launch the OraQuick test in October, making it available at Walgreens, Walmart, CVS and online pharmacies for an estimated retail price of just under $60. The company said part of OraQuick's cost will go towards setting up a toll-free
