NBA Locking Out Escorts, Too?

Vivid Entertainment and award-winning director Axel Braun will be holding open auditions Monday, Nov. 21, for two new SuperXXXHeroes parodies. Braun dives into the Marvel universe with hardcore parodies of X-Men XXX: A Porn Parody and Wolverine XXX: A Porn Parody.

Arrested Couple has Sex in Police Car

Tina Marie Arie and Howard Windham were arrested on drug charges last Monday after a police officer responded to a Whataburger in Montgomery County, where a male acquaintance of Arie and Windham was passed out.

Arie, 44, who admitted providing the unconscious man with Hydrocodone, was arrested for delivery of a controlled substance. Windham, 30, was found with the muscle relaxer, Soma, and arrested for possession. The pair was cuffed and placed into a police cruiser to get booked.

According to a spokesperson for Montgomery County Constable Precinct 4, at one point, the officer looked in his rear view mirror and he "could no longer see Tina Arie," who subsequently explained she was resting her head in Windham's lap because she was "tired."

Suspicious, the officer pulled over to the side of the road to investigate, according to a press statement. He discovered that, "despite being handcuffed behind their backs," the pair were engaged in a sexual act. Windham's jeans were undone."

It is unclear how Windham's jeans were unfastened. A spokesperson said Arie was unaware whether the jeans were of the zipper or button-fly variety. The officer "ordered them to cease sexual contact."

Though Arie and Windham could have faced an additional public indecency charge, investigators opted not to tack on a misdemeanor count to the more serious felony narcotics charges.

Sex Week at Harvard is Coming !

While the future of Sex Week 2012 sits in jeopardy at Yale, students at Harvard are preparing for their own inaugural sex week program to take place in March.

Samantha Meier, a senior at Harvard and co-founder of the student organization behind the program — Sexual Health Education & Advocacy throughout Harvard College (SHEATH) — said in a Monday email to the News that Sex Week at Harvard is intended to address growing interest in issues of sex and sexuality among the Cambridge Ivy’s student body. Though a number of Harvard campus organizations currently deal with those types of issues, Meier said coordination of their efforts into one week of events “that deal with sex, sexuality, sexual health, sexual relationships, and the way we negotiate sexuality in our everyday lives” will help promote productive student discussion of such matters.

Abby Sun, a junior at Harvard and the other co-founder of SHEATH, said in the same email that she credits the “ground-breaking hard work of organizers of other Sex Weeks at schools, including Yale and Brown,” for making Harvard’s program possible, but added that SHEATH hopes to shape the program in a way that attends to the particular needs of the Harvard, Cambridge and Boston community.

“We are looking to put our own, Harvard-specific spin on Sex Week,” Sun said in a Monday email to the News. “As student organizers at Harvard, we see ourselves best able to address problems faced by members of the Harvard student community.”

As part of its efforts to address sexual misconduct at Yale, the Advisory Committee on Campus Climate recommended last week that Sex Week at Yale be prohibited from using Yale facilities or the Yale name, though University President Richard Levin said he is open to proposals from program organizers that may allow the program to continue. Sun said she recognizes the concerns expressed by Levin, but thinks it is important to focus on the “positive potential” programs like Yale’s offer.

“Exploration of issues such as sexual communication, enthusiastic consent, and self-reflection encourages a culture of healthy sexuality,” Sun said. “We believe that these conversations do not hinder health and wellness. We hope that Sex Week 2012 will be able to proceed at Yale so that these vital conversations can continue to occur.”

Meier said organizers have seen an “overwhelmingly positive response” by Harvard administrators to their plans.

Sex Week at Harvard will be an annual event, while Yale’s program, which is scheduled to take place Feb. 4-14, has been a biannual event since it was founded in 2002.

Someone Anonymous is Putting Porn, Violence on Facebook

The problem with porn is not that it exists but how some people abuse its existence. Case in point is the inundation of Facebook over the past few days with images depicting porn, acts of violence, self-mutilation and bestiality. The hacker group Anonymous has been named as a possible source of the unwanted attacks, though it has not been confirmed.

In August, Anonymous threatened the massive social network in reaction to Facebook policies on monetization and privacy. In a YouTube video, the group claimed, “Facebook has been selling information to government agencies and giving clandestine access to information security firms so that they can spy on people from all around the world.”

The deadline for Facebook to correct its ways has passed, however, but the more common denial-of-service attack undertaken by Anonymous has not occurred, leaving some to speculate that the numerous small-scale hacks is a new sort of handiwork created to cause a major and creeping disruption of business as usual on Facebook.

Though spamming porn is rare for Anonymous, it is not unknown. Anonymous home base 4Chan made January 4, 2010, YouTube Porn Day in response to the suspension of Lukeywes1234, an account-holder to whom they took a liking. In 2007, the account of a Myspace user was hacked by Anonymous, which loaded it with gay porn and then sent “out a virus to 90 contacts of the victim which resulted in the destruction of over 30 computers due to the infection,” according to Examiner.com.

As reported by AVN, Anonymous has also gone after porn studios in the past, most notably Hustler, which it targeted in October 2010 in response to John Doe copyright infringement lawsuits brought by the company against Torrent users. As stated in the article, Anonymous had previously represented to AVN its deep appreciation for adult entertainment, which left us surmising that if forced to choose, its loyalty is to pirates and not porn. The attack went off as promised, but only kept Hustler's website up and down for a portion of one day.

This reporter has not seen any such Facebook activity related to his profile, and neither did one of his colleagues in the AVN offices, but two others have. One noted that many of his friends have complained about violent or porn images showing up in their feeds without their knowledge that they supposedly “like,” and another said several of her friends are sending out warnings saying that requests are being made on their behalf to click on links to videos about which they have no knowledge. Still others are warning that messages to friends via chat also are bogus.

It’s a mess that began a few days ago and seems to be escalating dramatically. According to a recent Gawker post, ‘Embattled Facebook users have been organizing anti-porn pages, like "I remember when Facebook WASN'T a porn site!’ Worms and scams aren't uncommon on Facebook, but the porn flood appears to be of a different magnitude than most Facebook exploits.”

Thus far, there is no official comment from Anonymous or Facebook, which leads some to believe that it has yet to figure out how to secure the site and stop the flood of porn and other unwanted content.

Philly Penthouse Club Raided; 8 Arrested for Hooking

According to news reports, the investigation that preceded Friday’s raid of the Port Richmond Penthouse Club by officers of the state Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement that resulted in eight people being arrested on charges related to prostitution was instigated at the request of members of the public, including the wives of alleged patrons who accused their husbands of spending grocery money on things you cannot bring home to eat.

That, at least, is the allegation of Sgt. Bill LaTorre of LCE, who told Philly.com, “If you would have asked me a year ago if this was a problem, I would have said no. But in the last few months I've gotten so many letters to me about what's going on that it appears to me it is now a rampant problem."

More strip clubs in the area, he added, can expect the same in the weeks and months to come, implying that investigations at those unnamed clubs have already been conducted as they were at the at the Penthouse Club on Castor Avenue, where Latorre said men would pay $300 for 30 minutes in the champagne room or $250 for a skybox to engage in various types of sex with performers at the club.

"The house is getting rich, literally, off the backs of these girls," LaTorre said, adding the club received $100 from every skybox visit and $150 from every champagne-room, and was thus very well aware of the illegal activity happening on the premises.

Though the police declined to release the names of those popped in the Friday raid, they did indicate that the seven dancers and one manager were caught red-handed soliciting undercover officers. The owners of the club were not cited, but remain under investigation. The future of the club’s liquor license, LaTorre said, is at stake.
